For the Bowl

  • 1 lb lean ground beef flavorful and juicy
  • 4 small sweet potatoes tender and slightly sweet
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil creamy and rich
  • 1 handful shredded lettuce crisp and refreshing
  • 1 medium red onion thinly sliced for mild crunch
  • 2 diced tomatoes juicy and bursting with flavor
  • to taste pickles for a tangy pop

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Peel and dice the sweet potatoes into small cubes. Toss with avocado oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread the seasoned sweet potatoes on a lined baking sheet and roast for 30-40 minutes, turning halfway through.
  • While the sweet potatoes roast, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings, cooking until browned (7-10 minutes).

Assembly

  • In serving bowls, layer a bed of lettuce, top with roasted sweet potatoes and savory beef.
  • Finish with slices of red onion, diced tomatoes, pickles, and a drizzle of special sauce.

Notes

Use small sweet potatoes for quicker roasting. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet for even cooking. For enhanced beef flavor, add garlic powder and paprika.
