Preparation

  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  • Combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, chipotle chili powder, salt, black pepper, honey, and lime juice in a separate bowl to make the marinade.
  • Pour the marinade over the chicken wings and coat them evenly.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for maximum flavor infusion.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or prepare your grill for medium-high heat.
  • For baking: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange wings in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • For grilling: Cook for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally until charred and crispy.
  • Ensure wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Notes
