  • 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts Trimmed and ready for cooking
  • 12 ounces garlic Parmesan wing sauce The star of the dish

  • 8 ounces cubed cream cheese Melts into the sauce beautifully
  • 1 cup shredded or shaved Parmesan cheese For a savory finish

For the Pasta

  • 16 ounces rotini pasta Or any pasta of your choice

Preparation

  • Trim the chicken breasts under cold running water and remove any excess fat.
  • Place the cleaned chicken into the slow cooker.

Cooking the Sauce

  • Pour the garlic Parmesan wing sauce over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  • Shake the empty sauce bottle filled with milk to mix any leftover sauce, then pour the milk into the slow cooker.
  • Scatter the cubed cream cheese over the top of the chicken.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Finishing Touches

  • Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and return it to the sauce, stirring well.
  • Stir in the shredded or shaved Parmesan cheese until melted and incorporated.
  • Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package directions, then drain.
  • Mix the cooked pasta with the creamy sauce in the slow cooker.

Serving

  • Serve the pasta hot, garnishing with additional Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra rich flavor, consider using homemade garlic Parmesan sauce. Add red pepper flakes for a kick. You can also add veggies like broccoli or spinach during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
