Preparation

  • Prepare your slow cooker by placing the chuck roast at the bottom.
  • Sprinkle the dried minced onion and Montreal steak seasoning evenly over the roast.
  • Drizzle the Worcestershire sauce directly on top, then pour the Arby’s sauce over everything.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for about 4 hours.

Finishing

  • Once cooked, use two forks to shred the beef in the juices.
  • Keep the shredded beef warm in the slow cooker while you heat the cheddar cheese sauce in a separate pot.

Assembly

  • Slice the onion rolls in half and add a generous portion of shredded beef to each roll.
  • Drizzle with the warm cheese sauce and serve immediately.
