Instructions
 

Prepare the Dough

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle active dry yeast on top and let sit for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
  • Add melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir to combine into a smooth mixture.
  • Slowly add all-purpose flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead gently on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour until doubled in size.

Roll and Bake

  • After the dough rises, punch it down and roll out on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thick.
  • Spread diced peaches, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  • Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 equal pieces.
  • Arrange slices in a greased baking dish with space between each roll. Cover with cloth and let rise another 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Prepare Icing

  • Mix powdered sugar with 1-2 tablespoons of milk until smooth. Drizzle icing over warm rolls after baking.
