Instructions
 

Marinating the Steak

  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  • Add the steak to the mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes.

Cooking the Rice

  • Prepare jasmine rice according to package instructions.
  • Fluff the rice with a fork and set aside.

Preparing the Spicy Cream Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Sriracha, and lime juice until smooth.
  • Taste and adjust the spice level by adding more Sriracha if desired.

Grilling the Steak

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Grill the marinated steak for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.

Assembling the Bowls

  • Divide the cooked jasmine rice into bowls.

Notes

For a more intense flavor, marinate the steak for up to an hour. Let the steak rest after cooking for juiciness. Adjust Sriracha level according to heat preference. Adding sesame seeds can introduce a crunchy texture.
