Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the steak pieces generously with salt and pepper.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Place the seasoned steak in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  • Set the cooked steak aside on a plate.

Cooking

  • In the same pan, add the remaining oil and sesame oil. Toss in the mushrooms and onions.
  • Sauté for 4-5 minutes until they soften and caramelize.
  • Add the zucchini and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Melt 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of the pan and sauté the minced garlic until aromatic.
  • Mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey in a small bowl, then pour the mixture into the pan.
  • Return the cooked steak to the pan and mix everything thoroughly.
  • Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Notes

Serve over a bed of rice or alongside stir-fried noodles. Avoid overcrowding the pan to achieve a nice sear.
