Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, ensuring every piece is well coated.
  • Cook the chicken for about 5-6 minutes until it is beautifully browned and fully cooked through, then set aside on a plate.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add the uncooked pasta and bring to a gentle boil.
  • Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook uncovered for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the sauce thickens.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, then stir in the Parmesan cheese. Optionally add mozzarella. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, ensure the skillet is heated before cooking the chicken. Adjust seasoning to taste as the sauce simmers.
