Preparation

  • Pour the frozen meatballs directly into a 6-quart slow cooker without thawing.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, olive oil, minced garlic, and diced onion.
  • If using, sprinkle in the optional red pepper flakes.
  • Pour the sauce over the meatballs, gently stirring to coat each one.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 2½ to 3 hours or LOW for 4 to 6 hours.
  • Stir the meatballs occasionally for even cooking.
  • Before serving, top with sliced green onions for a fresh garnish.
