Instructions

Preparation

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, ranch seasoning, dill, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add chicken pieces and toss until thoroughly coated.
  • Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers, leaving space between each piece for even cooking.

Cooking

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and add minced garlic; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in Parmesan, optional hot sauce, red pepper flakes, parsley, ranch seasoning, dried dill, and onion powder. Reserve a third of the sauce for basting later.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high, oven to 450°F, or air fryer to 400°F.
  • Grill the skewers for 5-6 minutes on each side, basting with reserved sauce during the last few minutes. If baking, cook for about 14 minutes, turning halfway, then broil for 2 minutes.
  • Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Once done, brush with reserved sauce, sprinkle with extra Parmesan, and let rest before serving.

Notes

Consider marinating the chicken overnight for deeper flavors. Experiment with different herbs or seasoning blends. Monitor closely to avoid overcooking.
