Preparation

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the diced yellow onion and sauté for about 5 minutes, until translucent.

Dumpling Preparation

  • In a separate bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, egg, flour, baking powder, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  • Shape the mixture into 12 to 15 balls.

Cooking

  • Carefully place dumplings on top of the soup.
