Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter and stir in sugar until fully combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until no dry spots remain. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Remove the brownie from the oven and allow it to cool completely in the pan.

Cheesecake Layer

  • Beat the cream cheese and sugar together until creamy and free of lumps.
