Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, sauté until softened, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and let it cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned, breaking apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes to taste.
  • Reduce the heat and stir in the cream cheese until melted. Gradually add the milk, along with half of the provolone and mozzarella cheeses, stirring until smooth.
  • Combine the drained pasta with the beef and cheese sauce in the skillet, tossing gently until coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheeses on top, and bake for 18 to 22 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  • Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
