Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, fully incorporating each before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing slowly.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.

Baking

  • Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough into each muffin cup, pressing down to form hollow centers.
